As a blogger, we want to have a cool logo or a really neat header graphic that brands our image. If you want to really have a unique header then you should consider outsourcing the job to a place like or You can find plenty of creative designers that you can choose from. However, if money is tight and you are looking for a free logo design software then I want to share with you some of my favorites.

1. – There is both a free version and a paid version. I originally downloaded the free version and I loved it so much that I bought the fully featured version. I have personally used this free logo software to design several of my own blog headers. Even with the free version, you receive several awesome header templates. After you pick your header image, you can then add text to make your site look original. The software has hundreds of fonts and sizes. It is just about the best selection that I have found online.

2. – This site is being added to on a regular basis. Most of the time when setting up a blog all you really need is a cool icon or logo. This site is a both a great free logo maker and awesome icons for your blog or sales pages. Once you go to the icon finder site you can search for any time of graphic in the search box. If you are not sure what to search for then use the  “browse” feature and you will see all of the recent icons and logos added to the system. Most of the icons have a creative common license and you can use the logo freely. However, there are a few logos that require you to share a link on your site. Once you find an image you can just grab a free graphic design tool like and put a little text to it and you are good to go! If you are looking for a free logo design software then check this site out!

3. – This is actually not a free logo design software but it is too good not to mention. I love everything about this site. All you have to do is submit your logo design job and any specifics that you want to share. Then, this is when the beauty begins. Creative designers from around the world take your job specifics and create a unique logo for you. You will end up with 50-100 versions of your logo. You can de-select those that you do not like until you get it down to the 5 or 10 that you like. Once you have settled on the one you like best, you pay and it is yours to use how ever you would like. This is such a better way to go then to try to hire one designer and hope he understands what you want. This option will cost you but there really is not a better way to get a quality, professional logo designed.

Additionally they offer a bunch of great logo templates that you can buy for only $99. You can find out more about this program in our 99 Designs review.
