Unless you’ve had your head in the sand for the past few years, then you already know the popularity of images on social media. Whether it is an inspiring quote on Facebook or an awesome idea for a room makeover on Pinterest, images grab our attention.

I’ve said for awhile now that the way to increase your likes, share, retweets and pins is by sharing images on social media. If only there was a simple way to find, share and schedule images, our lives would be so much simpler.

Enter ViralTag.

Think Buffer App for visual marketing. ViralTag makes it extremely easy for you to not only find amazing images your audience will love, but they make the process of sharing them easy too.

4 Reasons You’ll Love Using ViralTag

While I could list a few more reasons, I think you will find that these four reasons alone are compelling enough to give ViralTag a further look. If you want to grow traffic, increase your engagement, while spending less time on social media, then give ViralTag a try.

1. ViralTag works with all the major social media outlets.

At the time of this writing, ViralTag currently works with Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Tumblr. With Facebook you’ll be able to use both your personal profile and any Facebook pages you manage. With Pinterest you’ll be able to pin to any of your boards.

2. ViralTag offers 8 creative ways to discover awesome images.

Do we really need another social media scheduling tool? If that’s what you are thinking, this is where I think ViralTag shines. In the past, the majority of my time has been spent on either creating images or finding images to actually share on my social media outlets.

What I love about ViralTag is they make this process super easy. In fact, I think it has the potential to save you an hour or more a week. Here’s at least 8 ways to quickly find images to share.

Share images from your computer. If you already have existing photos or old image quotes you’ve created in the past, you can easily add them to your content library inside your ViralTag account.

Share images from your own Facebook account. I was excited to see this feature. One of my goals this year to be more personal and share a little more of my everyday activities on my Facebook fan pages. By connecting your Facebook account, you can quickly add the images you’d like to share with your audience.

Share images via Google image search. This is another great feature built-in to ViralTag. Simply do a Google image search for your topic and select the ones you want to share. In the past, you would of had to search on Google separately, save the image to your computer, and then upload it to your social media sites individually. This tool alone can save you a ton of time.

Share images via your Flickr account. Have a Flickr account? You can connect it and share any images you have on your account. Super easy.

Share images via your Picasa account. We use Picasa to store many of our photos from trips, birthday parties, and holidays. This is another easy way to share a bit of your life with your audience.

Share images via your Instagram account. If you are a heavy Instagram user this is a no brainer as well. Connect Instagram into your ViralTag account and you can share those Instagram images on your other social media outlets with ease.

Share images from ViralTag’s library. In a hurry? ViralTag comes with a large and ever growing library of images that you are free to share as well. You can search by category or do a keyword search in order to find just the right images to share.

Share images via the browser extension. I love that this feature exists. Install the ViralTag browser extension and you’ll have a small ViralTag icon that gets added to your browser window (see pic).

When you are browsing the internet and find that perfect image you’d like to share, just click on the icon and it will pull of a list of available images you can share. I decided to try this feature with one of my favorite Facebook pages. I simply navigated to the Zig Ziglar Facebook page (as you see here).

I then clicked on the ViralTag icon in my browser and this is what it pulled up (see below).

All of the quote images from the Facebook fan page were now ready for me to share. Note: I believe strongly in linking back to the original source where you found the image. ViralTag does as well because they automatically include the source link for you. From here select the images you would like to share, add any additional comments, pick which social media outlets you want to send the image and they are scheduled for you.

3. You control the posting schedule for sharing your images.

Only want your images to go out on a certain time or day? ViralTag comes with a sample schedule ready to go, but you are free to change it to your liking. If you only want to share images Monday through Friday, you can set that up in your account. Do you have a certain time of day when most of your followers are on social media? You can set to have images shared during those times.

4. Increase your traffic and engagement on autopilot.

As you can see, you could spend 15-30 minutes on the weekend and fill up all your social media channels for the entire week. This allows you to grow your traffic and increase your engagement while you focus on other important activities in your blogging.

Here’s a quick example of what I’m talking about. While writing this blog post, one of my images from ViralTag was shared on Twitter. Within a few minutes, my image was favorited and retweeted all while I was writing this post. That’s the power in having your social media posts on autopilot.

What’s missing?

As you can tell, I’ve quickly become a fan of ViralTag, but if I had to choose one feature that I wish it had it would be the ability to recycle content. It could be something they have in mind as a feature in the future. It’s not a deal breaker for me since finding new images is a breeze.

Update: I’ve been told from the creators of ViralTag that they are working to add this feature in the coming months.

A quick look at their site reveals that ViralTag has more than 40,000 users and it was started by ex-amazonian, Sudheer Someshwara. Some of their key clients include Discovery Studio, Lacoste, and Hearst Corporation.

ViralTag is ideal for businesses or bloggers in several industries such as food, photography, design, coaching, fitness, etc. They have both free and paid versions, to give them a try for yourself, just go to ViralTag.com.

Update: The founders of ViralTag would like to offer readers of Blogging Your Passion and special discount if you decide to upgrade to the paid plan. You can get 20% of the monthly subscription cost, just by using the coupon code: BLOGGINGYOURPASSION (note: I’m not an affiliate and don’t receive a commission if you use the coupon code).
