Goal: Find 20 Great Keywords to Write About
If you completed the steps from before, you should have at least 3000 keywords that are generally related to your niche in the tool. While there are so many ways that you can filter these keywords, in an effort to be simple I am just going to share three basic but effective ways to do so.
Your overall target at this point is to find keywords with low competition. In other words, when you do a search in google for that keyword phrase, it does not have a lot of competing pages. If the keyword phrase is also highly searched, you have a real winner. Watch the part 1 video now to get a better idea of what I am talking about.
I really hope you can grasp the power of tagging in the keyword strategy tool. This is where you c an customize the tool to meet your needs. Like mentioned in the video, I use the term DRAFT as a way for me to tag keywords that I like. Then, when I am ready to write, I chose just the tag DRAFT and I only see those keywords. Watch part 2 for two other methods for finding great keywords for your blog.
Okay, you should now have at least 20+ great keywords that you can target by writing blog post for each. Set a goal over the next 30 days to try and knock out as many of these keywords as you can. The goal is for you to write quality content that is helpful to your readers. Also, be sure that you are optimizing your blog posts (known as on page SEO) so that you get the best benefit for your effort. Get writing and we will come back with the next step in the process!
